Some days I really hate that I have to wear glasses. Wearing jewellery is a minefield, I have given up on eye makeup completely and hats are a no go when my glasses are on my face... so I thought I'd put together some photos for inspiration.

Things I Love Thursday

Helping - One of my closest girlie friends will be turning the ripe old age of 21 really soon and we're putting together a fab night to celebrate. There may even be some pictures surfacing here after the night.

 

Doing Something just For Me - Like putting on perfume just before going to bed.

Happy Feet - College has started back, thousands of students have invaded my space again, classes I'm supposed to be teaching are located at the other side of a large, spacious and beautiful campus. My heels and wedges have been replaced by trainers and flats for the foreseeable future. Thank god Black Swan made ballet flats desirable again. My toes thank you.

Honourable Mentions - attempting to make 4 fitness classes and 3 training sessions next week - if I manage it I will reward myself with new gym wear, Eau Thermale Avene cold cream for lips - one of the most amazing products I have ever put on my lips and sent to my by this wonderful lady, the smell of leather - I can't believe it has taken me until I was 28 to buy my first leather jacket, a glass of perfectly chilled Pinot Grigio,  freshly painted, shell pink toenails, waking up with perfect hair, learning to like tomatoes

Buckle Up

I am loving this idea from Thabto. 

It's a reconditioned car seat buckle transformed into the simplest way to make sure you don't lose your keys. I'm not the worlds worst when it comes to misplacing my keys but I still think that this would be a cool addition to my front hall.

Imagine

No Weekend? Disaster.

My weekend is my catch up time. Get clothes washed, house cleaned, sleep ins had, parents visited, friends consoled, tea made all before another week hits.  

Take that away and I don't know what I'd do. 

 How about you? Could you survive without the weekend?

I Sort Of Helped

I was supposed to be useful this weekend and pick up the bridesmaids dresses for S & C's wedding but my lovely dress picker upper in Belfast has to head home. Sigh.... maybe another week. I was so looking forward to swishing around my room for a little while feeling like a princess.

Things I Love Thursday

Online Jackpot - I can hardly believe that I love everything that arrived in last weeks ASOS order. And everything fits. And I am ok with the quality of all the pieces. I am actually shocked... and delighted, cause I hate having to queue at the post office and really didn't want to return anything. I picked up this, this, this and this. First online clothes shopping experience can now be called a success.

Shopping In My Wardrobe - Have you ever found something lurking in your wardrobe with the labels still attached? I have quite a few of those items... embellished scarves, a sequined waistcoat, more than one pair of shoes, a printed maxi dress, a matt sequined skirt, the list goes on and on. So since I have decided to stop buying more clothes than I need after the ASOSgate incident last week (my credit card is still mad at me) it's now time to begin the mix and remix of my wardrobe. I don't know if I'll ever post outfit posts here but I'm starting to give in to the idea. What makes outfit posts great in your eyes? 

Hepburn Style - How can anyone not love the crisp white shirts, cropped black pants, classic trench, stripes, perfect LDB style of Audrey Hepburn? Simple, chic, elegant, always. Hepburn inspired countless knockoffs and imitation but will always be at the forefront of simple fashion. I am completely in love with all of the cropped trousers sashaying down the s/s 2011 catwalk. I may have picked up two pairs of cropped skinny black jeans before my self imposed shopping ban. Funny Face... here I come.
