Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater
We carved pumpkins for the first time ever. I'm so proud of us all. Aren't they so cute?
Can you guess which one is mine?

Things I Love Thursday
source
Bank Holidays - This weekend is the October Bank Holiday so I don't have to go to work, and because Mondays classes aren't on Thursdays and Fridays classes are canceled too. YEA! I only have to teach on Wednesday next week.
Surprises - I really hope that my mum likes her present on Saturday.
Folders - I've been trying to build up a folder of all things archery and club related to make things a little easier to run and it's slowly, but surely getting bigger and bigger.
Sunday Brunch - Looking forward to a Sunday of papers, coffee and scrambled egg on bagels.

Mum's The Word
It's my mum's birthday on Saturday. I'm going to head home to see her on Friday and Saturday, and I've promised to paint our kitchen for her as a birthday present.
But I also got her another present - she was saying about how lots of customers are not contacting her directly because they don't have her number, so I ordered her some new business cards, matching calendars and some pens from Vistaprint.

We Have A Winner

As much as I loved the Betty Boop idea I just couldn't find a suitable dress to base the costume around. Who knew how hard it would be to find a red satin slip dress! Oh well!
So myself and Raymy put our heads together and decided to see if we could make a ringmistress costume. I can't wait until I start putting it together, yesterday I headed into town and got a vest top, which is going to be customised with gold buttons and chains, a red shirt which is going to be transformed into a cropped jacket with fringed shoulder boards and a beautiful minature top hat. I already have some suitable boots and a skirt that I can customise. All I need now is the red lipstick and some eyeliner, oh and a whip, and I'm complete...
and a lot of make and do time too!
I can't wait to show you the finished outfit, wish me luck on my maiden make and do session.

Halloween Help
source
Hey everyone - I need a little help and advice.
The gals and guy in my house want to throw a halloween party, our budget is limited but we want to do something really great looking. Have you any ideas?
We'll be confining the party to just the downstairs of the house and out onto the patio. We're borrowing a gorgeous gazebo for outside in case it rains and we have lots of white fairy lights that we can use.
The other 'problem' I have is that I have no idea what to dress up as! I want to look... well... hot but not slutty, and a lot of costumes look kinda slutty. I also have the added problem that I'm shooting at a Halloween archery shoot a few days later and my costume has to be suitable for that too. Please please don't suggest anything archery related, most archery people shun the Robin Hood thing very much.
As a curvy, very curvy, girl with black curls I know that there are a lot of other options out there for me but I'm just not too sure.

Made with Love in Dingle
Mr T and I spent the weekend in An Dangain with J&S. Such a beautiful town with loads of little shops and cafes and things to look at.
We got to see the trees - carved out of trees still in the ground. There were four of them dotted around the churchyard. Absolutely beautiful.
Mr T and I decided to go roaming around the coastline Saturday morning and we found a gorgeous pebble beach, although pebble is a bit of an understatement - boulder would be a closer description.
We spend Saturday hopping around the pebble beach and strolling along Inch Strand - would you believe that the strand is 3.6km long. We took the car out and clocked it! Lots of surfers and board kiters and dog walkers and dirt bikers all along the beach. We headed back to J&S's place for a yummy soup lunch and a little catching up and then headed in to An Dangain to see if Murphys Ice Cream Shop was still open. They had just closed so we decided that maybe some actual dinner might be a better plan than ice cream.
Sunday started pretty lazy, just about made it up in time for breakfast - I had the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, Mt T opted for the pancakes with honey. We headed back to our room to curl up on the bed and watch Sunday morning cartoons until we had to check out. A little potter around town and J&S decided to come in and see if ice cream was still a good idea - It Was! Wow, Murphys is a great spot. I picked out two scoops of cookies, and peanut, Mr T was tempted by the Barrys Tea ice cream and the brown bread ice cream, he felt that it was breakfast in an ice cream. All it needed was a little jam in his opinion! We finished out the day with a picnic out on the penninsula before saying 'see ya soon' to J&S and facing the car back for Limerick.

Things I Love Today

Rain - Sitting listening to rain is such a beautiful sound, especially when you don't have to go out in it!
Tea - Steaming, hot, yummy mugs of tea - to be consumed while curled up on the couch with a blanket.
True Blood - Just got my hands on Season 2 and loving it!
MY NEW PHONE - THE W995 has arrived!

A Mr T Special

Things I love about you Mr T
Things I love about you Mr T
- That you knew last night that tea and a hot water bottle would fix most of my ailments
- That you never complain when I ask you to make me yet another cup of tea
- That you treated me to a new cardi last weekend just because I didn't want to stand in the long queue for the till
- The fight you pretended to put up when I asked if I could tidy your man brow
- The unending joy you get out of pressing the tip of my nose and wait for me to 'honk'
I love you Mr T
