Imagine

No Weekend? Disaster.

My weekend is my catch up time. Get clothes washed, house cleaned, sleep ins had, parents visited, friends consoled, tea made all before another week hits.

Take that away and I don't know what I'd do.
How about you? Could you survive without the weekend?

  1. I'm a stay at home Mom...so really my days run into my weeks, my weeks into months, and if my husband didn't suddenly have 1 or 2 days off..I probably wouldn't notice the weekend at all.

  2. It kind of annoys me though, because you wait and wait for the weekend and then when it arrives, you're so busy catching up on things that you miss it and you're collapsed in bed knackered on a Sunday night *sigh*

  3. The weekend should definitley be about doing things like this. I work on weekends however so I rarely realise it at all. I can't wait for next year when weekends will actually mean 2 days off!
Thanks for your lovely comment, would love you to follow. I'm your newest follower.

  4. It really seems that none of us get the weekend that we want. What would be your perfect weekend?

  5. Heck no I couldn't live without weekends! Sometimes the promise of Friday night is the only thing that gets me through the week and keeps me from feeling *completely* hopeless.

Even if I was head-over-heels in love with my job, I can't imagine NEVER wanting time off to recharge.

Also, I feel a little guilty but I do almost always get the weekend I want. Sure, there are not-so-great things that must be done on weekends (errands, working on the house), but I almost always get at least one great meal, a few hours playing video games, and extra time playing with my dog.
