Monday Morning Blues Cure

Have you ever had just one of those weekends? The one where things go right, stuff gets done, you get to see friends, little achievements happen. The one where you should wake up on Monday morning full of joy and life and energy because you had a great weekend.

But what do you do when you don't wake up like that? What do you do when you've just had a great weekend - your to do list got impressively smaller, you set 2 new personal bests at competition and bring home a trophy, you get to spend a few days with great friends, including lunch out and lots of ice cream and you wake up on Monday morning with a sense of foreboding in the pit of your stomach?

Do you want to know what I did? I put on an outfit that I love even though it's not weather appropriate for the tail end of the cyclone hitting Ireland today, got to the office early this morning and cranked on some amazing tunes and just sat back with my head phones on and a coffee in my hand and waited for the crap feeling to pass.

And it did.
